The Clara ballerina jewelry box has been designed and constructed with longevity in mind, created to be passed down through generations. Lid features ten necklace hooks with sewn pouch to secure necklaces when lid is closed. Sliding panels feature two ring bars and two 3 3/4" " x 3" compartments for bracelets or hair barrettes. Well beneath offers more generalized storage for additional jewelry and other treasures. The drawer features eighteen 1.5" x 1.5" squares for earrings. A jewelry box she can use now and as her collection grows. Ballerina twirls to "The Nutcracker Suite" 18 note movement. Music stops when lid is closed. Lined with a rose colored pressed velvet. Finished with classic brushed nickel hardware. Constructed from American hardwood (poplar) with a satin mahogany finish. Jewel Safe Lock ™ is an innovative locking mechanism which activates the lock on drawer (drawers) when lid is closed. A single key locks the top of the jewelry box. Comes with two keys and packaged in stylish gift box. Optional brushed silver personalized engraving plate attaches to the top center of jewelry box cover. Engraving Information
Engraving is an
excellent way to personalize your gift and to commemorate a special occasion.
You may choose from a monogram, initials or a message. A monogram is a
traditional way of personalizing an item, accentuating the last name initial in
the center. This is our most popular option as it adds an instant touch of grace
and sophistication to the piece. Initials would be written just as you would
initial a document or letter. The message is a popular option for holiday gifts,
weddings and anniversaries (especially year 5 as is tradition to present a wooden
gift).
How long does it take to engrave my
jewelry box?
Many jewelry boxes
are shipped directly from the manufacturer to expedite the shipping process. In
this case the engraving is mailed to you separately and will arrive in about 1
week from the order date. if you select express shipping for your jewelry box,
the engraved plate will be sent express as well.
How do I install my engraved plate?
Some of the jewelry
boxes are manufactured with a blank plate pre-attached to the lid (pictured in
the description). If this is the case, a plate will be engraved that is the same
size as the plate on your jewelry box. Simply remove the blank one and use the
provided screws to attached your engraved plate. Other jewelry boxes featuring
no pre-installed plate will require installation by professional grade engravers
tape. Your engraved plate will arrive with the engravers tape on the
back. An email will be sent at the time of your order explaining the simple
steps in properly attaching the plate to the box.
